User Reviews about Pike Street Overfilled Ultra Soft Microplush Queen Mattress Pad

For years I have had a down feather bed under my sheet for added comfort and a cozy, cloud like experience. The problem is that they are difficult to clean... and expensive. Recently one of my dogs had an "accident" on the bed and that was the end of my featherbed. I ordered this mattress pad from Amazon to "tide me over" until I found time to shop for a replacement. I ordered it one day, it arrived less than 24 hours later and was on my bed that night. It is great... soft, comfy, washable and a real bargain at twice the price. This pad fit perfectly. Doesn't shift and is large enough to fit even my deep pocket queen mattress. Very plush and comfortable. The only drawback is that I could feel the heavy stitching through my sheets. After a few more nights, we became used to it and it wasn't as noticeable. I was gladly surprised by the plushness of this cover. It added a much needed soft layer to my mattress. I bought a full sized cover but it turned out to be a little bit too big, so I had to buy some pins to make it fit better. It's also very deep, which made it get out of place a bit. All in all, a pretty good investment, if you erroneously bought a mattress that doesn't really suit you that well. -- Plushy and comfortable
